At LinksBubble, our core philosophy is simple: your data belongs to you.
1. Local Storage Only
LinksBubble is a strictly offline-first application. Every link you save, every note you write, and every tag you create is stored locally on your own computer (specifically in %APPDATA%\linksbubble). We do not provide cloud sync, and we do not host your data on our servers.
2. Telemetry and Analytics
We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data. We have no visibility into how you use the application or what you save within it.
3. Payment Processing
When you purchase a Pro license, your payment is securely processed by Gumroad. We do not receive or store your credit card information. Gumroad provides us with your email address so we can issue your license key and provide support.
4. AI Features
All AI analysis and summarization features are performed using local, on-device models. Your notes and web captures are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other external API unless you explicitly configure the application to do so via your own custom API keys.
